Privacy Policy
GetYourTCF (https://getyourtcf.com), operating in British Columbia, Canada, is committed to protecting your personal information. We comply with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights.
1.1 Information we collect
- Contact and booking details: your name, email address, phone number, time zone, preferred session times, and the program you purchase.
- Written submissions: essays and responses you submit for the Expression Écrite (Writing) portion of our mock exams and coaching.
- Oral exam recordings: audio and video recordings of live Expression Orale (Speaking) mock exams conducted over Zoom, recorded only with your consent at the start of the session.
- AI-assisted transcripts: transcripts of your Speaking sessions produced with the help of AI transcription tools, used to support evaluator feedback.
- Assessment results: mock exam scores, projected NCLC levels, scorecards and evaluator notes.
- RCIC referral information: if you were referred by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), their name, firm and contact details.
- Website and form data: information you enter into our forms, and basic technical data (such as browser type) collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.
1.2 How we use your information
- To schedule, deliver and evaluate your diagnostic, mock exams and coaching sessions.
- To prepare your scorecard, readiness report and personalized study recommendations.
- To communicate with you about bookings, results, rescheduling and your account.
- To process payments, refunds and upgrade credits.
- To improve the quality and consistency of our assessments (using de-identified data only).
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
1.3 Recordings and AI-assisted transcripts
Speaking session recordings and AI-assisted transcripts are retained for up to 90 days so you can review your performance and evaluator feedback. After 90 days they are permanently deleted, unless you ask us in writing to delete them sooner. Transcripts are used only to support your feedback.
1.4 B2B referral reports shared with RCICs
If an RCIC referred you, we will share your readiness report with that RCIC only with your express written consent, collected before your assessment. We share it only with the authorized RCIC named on your referral, and only the information needed for them to advise you on timing. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal applies to future sharing.
1.5 Payments
Payments are processed by third-party, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (such as Stripe or Square). GetYourTCF does not store your full credit card number. These processors handle your payment information under their own privacy policies.
1.6 Service providers and storage
We use trusted service providers to operate our business, such as video conferencing (Zoom), email, scheduling, form handling, website hosting and payment processing. Some providers may store or process information outside of British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We choose providers with reasonable security safeguards and only share what is needed to provide the service.
1.7 Safeguards and retention
We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls and secure, password-protected accounts. Apart from recordings and transcripts (see 1.3), we keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then securely delete it.
1.8 Your rights
Under PIPA and PIPEDA you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual limits), and ask questions or make a complaint about how we handle your information. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Terms of Service & Disclaimers
By booking or using any GetYourTCF service or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2.1 Who we are and independence
GetYourTCF is an independent, private test-readiness and assessment agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by France Éducation International (FEI), the CCI Paris Île-de-France, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Alliance Française, or Ashton Testing Services. TCF, TCF Canada and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the exam our services prepare you for.
2.2 Readiness estimates only
- Simulated NCLC scores, mock exam results and diagnostic reports are readiness estimates only.
- They are not official test results and cannot be submitted to IRCC or used for any immigration application.
- They do not guarantee any official TCF Canada score, NCLC level, Express Entry invitation or immigration outcome. Official results depend on your performance on test day and are determined solely by the official test provider.
2.3 No immigration advice
GetYourTCF does not provide immigration legal representation or immigration advice, and does not act as or on behalf of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). Any discussion of IRCC requirements, such as NCLC thresholds, is general information only. For advice about your application, consult a licensee of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) or a lawyer in good standing with a Canadian law society.
2.4 Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and booking information.
- Attend sessions on time with a working camera, microphone and internet connection.
- Complete all mock exam components yourself, without outside help, so your results are accurate.
- Treat our evaluators and staff with respect. We may end a session or service, without refund, in cases of abusive conduct.
2.5 Intellectual property
All proprietary mock exam prompts, questions, writing and speaking templates, scorecards, study materials and website content are owned by GetYourTCF and protected by copyright. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial exam preparation only. You may not copy, record, share, resell, publish or distribute them without our prior written permission.
2.6 Third-party tools
Some programs include access to third-party tools, such as online exam simulators or video conferencing. Your use of those tools is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes to third-party services, but we will work with you on a reasonable alternative if a tool becomes unavailable.
2.7 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetYourTCF’s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam fees, missed draws, travel costs or immigration outcomes.
2.8 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “Last updated” date, applies to bookings made after that date.
2.9 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Refund, Rescheduling & Upgrade Credit Policy
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are extra. Where a refund applies, a 5% payment processing fee is deducted to cover non-recoverable processor charges.
Tier 1: TCF Readiness Diagnostic & Mock Exam ($119 CAD)
- Rescheduling: free rescheduling of your live Speaking session with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Full refund (less 5% processing fee): if you cancel within 48 hours of purchase, and before you access or submit the timed Writing test or attend the Speaking session.
- Non-refundable: once the timed Writing test has been accessed, or within 24 hours of your scheduled live Speaking session.
- $50 CAD Package Upgrade Credit: upgrade to Tier 2 ($395 CAD) or Tier 3 ($950 CAD) within 7 days of receiving your scorecard and $50 CAD of your diagnostic fee is credited toward the upgrade.
Tier 2: Last-Mile NCLC 7 Sprint ($395 CAD) & Tier 3: 6-Week NCLC 7 Accelerator ($950 CAD)
- Full refund (less 5% processing fee): if you cancel at least 48 hours before your first session, and before any third-party simulator licence key (e.g. PrepMyFuture) has been issued to you.
- Used portions are non-refundable: once a simulator licence (valued at $80 CAD) or a coaching or mock session (valued at $95 CAD per session) has been used, those portions cannot be refunded.
- Prorated refunds or credits: requests for a prorated refund or credit on the unused portion of your program are accepted within 7 days of enrolment by emailing [email protected].
3.1 How to request a refund, reschedule or credit
Email [email protected] from the address you booked with, including your name, program and booking date. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
3.2 Missed sessions
If you miss a scheduled session without at least 24 hours’ notice, that session is considered used. If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, you may choose a new time at no cost or receive a refund for that session.
